Newbie Questions Regarding Items and cwStorage

Hello. I have just recently started to "code" for clockwork. I've got the basics down, but I've run into a few roadblocks.
The first of which is how to get items, when used, to drop other items.
Code:

player:GiveItem(Clockwork.item:CreateInstance("xxx"), true);
In the place of 'xxx', what do I put? Do I put the item's ingame reference name, such as 'empty_oxygen_tank', or do I use its file name, 'c_oxygen_empty'?

The second question is a bit more confusing.
